Between the days of 24th and 25th of November 2011, the portion that marks the beginning – or the end – of the border wall between Mexico and the United States, in Playas de Tijuana, was removed for a few hours.

These images are part of the documentation of the demolition process of this wall, which consisted of about 80 metal bars, each of them measuring between 50 to 60 feet in length, which where one by one plucked away, as described here. Providing a glimpse – if only for a few hours – of how would this place look like if the border wall ceased to exist.
